For many people, the holiday season is a mixed bag. There are parties and more opportunities to get together with loved ones. There are bright lights and cheerful songs and a focus on gratitude and love. There is also a lot of pressure to enjoy every moment of "the most wonderful time of the year." For many of us the holiday season also sets the tone for feeling overwhelmed, depleted, lonely, and frazzled. I find that this time of year makes it particularly easy to let your self care practices fall by the wayside.
